Congregational: Adult
Adults have specific needs at various points in life. No matter what stage you may be in your adult life, we believe you always need God’s guidance and are always under His sovereignty. Whether one is thirty years of age or sixty, single or married, with children or none, SCBC strives to build up the adult believer in the Word of God, which leads to spiritual maturity and service. Our Sunday morning Bible studies, Wednesday night Bible study, and various community groups (small groups) serve to meet this end. There are periodic fellowship activities that promote the individual believer to be part of the Christ-centered community at large.
Congregational: Youth
In harmony and affirmation of the greater mission of SCBC, the youth ministry of SCBC strives to 1) effectively teach the Word of God through meaningful discussion, study, and by being an example of obedience to it, 2) give as many intentional opportunities to young people to respond to the Gospel, 3) offer a safe environment for spiritual growth and fellowship that is Christ-centered, and 4) build up young people into mature believers so that they may reach their generation for the glory of God. This is all facilitated through Sunday morning Bible study, a weekly meeting, and various activities or trips.
Congregational: Missions
Our church sponsors 5 full time Korean missionaries to Senegal, Cambodia, Japan, China, & Turkey. We also support various other global missions and local evangelistic outreaches. Each year, our church members have an opportunity to go directly to our supported missionaries to assist them in the work of the ministry at their mission field.
