History

Songtan Central Baptist Church is founded on April 1, 1974
with the Rev. Kim Soon Myoung as the Senior Pastor.

The Rev. Bae Kook Soon becomes the Senior Pastor on January 1, 1979.

Tent services begin at current site of the church in July 1983.

Current main sanctuary is dedicated in March 1989.

Public worship services begin for the English Ministry on October 1, 1991.

The Educational Building is finished in November 1997.

The Daniel School is started in March 2006.

The English & Elderly Ministry Building is completed in August 2006.

The dedication of the English sanctuary is on August 27, 2006.
