At 8:30 a.m., the Men’s Fraternity will meet on the 1st floor. If you can’t make it on Sunday, remember to join in on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the English Sanctuary.
At 9:00 a.m., the Women’s Esther Bible Study will also meet on the 1st floor next to the Men’s Fraternity meeting.
SCBC invites all to join with us at 10:15 a.m. for our Sunday Worship Service in the English Sanctuary.
Finally, after our Sunday Worship Service (at approximately 11:45 a.m.) we will have a Parent-Youth Meeting. Steve will talk with us about the directon of the youth ministry, upcoming events, and will take your questions regarding the church’s youth programs.

6 p.m.: Couple’s Banquet.
The monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be this Saturday morning at 8 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall cafeteria. Riley Edwards will be sharing his tesimony. Please join us for encouragement in the Lord as we seek His face in prayer.
Later Saturday evening SCBC will hold the Couple’s Banquet beginning at 6 p.m. at the Songtan International Community Center. The cost for the banquest is 50,000 won per couple and child care will be provided. Please contact George to sign up.
Kid’s Club is starting back up beginning 5 February! This will be a time of worship, teaching, singing, and crafts for K-5th graders DURING our regular worship service. We need adult volunteers to help in this! Please contact Michelle to get involved.
There will be a membership meeting at the end of the worship service on 29 January. If you are a joined member of SCBC, please plan on attending.
On Monday, 16 January 2012, there will be a Family Sledding Trip to Hanhwa. We will be meeting at the church at 10 a.m. to head over and will come back at 3 p.m. For more information or to sign up, please contact Mike.
There are many things going on at SCBC on Sunday, 29 January 2012:
- Beginning at 8:30 a.m., the Men’s Fraternity will have its first meeting and will on the 1st Floor of the English building. It will be led by Eric Zanger. The Men’s Fraternity explores Biblical masculinity and gives an opportunity for men to form authentic relationships and accountability. You can choose to either attend the Sunday or Wednesday session which begins that same week.
- A Women’s Bible Study will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be on the 1st floor of the building. It will focus on the life of Esther from the Bible. All ladies are invited. Contact Gail for more information.
- A special Concert of Prayer will be held in the English Sanctuary at 3:30 p.m. All are invited to join in seeking God’s face in prayer as a church family.
The Mom’s Ministry will be meeting this thursday, 19 Jan 2012, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the English Library (3rd floor). We’re continuing our study of the book, Bible Moms. We’ll learn from other mothers in the Bible. Any mom is welcome to join us! Contact Gail for more information.
The Nursery (0-3 year olds) is growing and need volunteers. With the new men’s and women’s Sunday School classes starting this month, the need has now expanded to the 9 a.m. hour as well. You can hlep regularly or rotationally. If you’d like to minister to our children and their parents in this way, please contact Sarah.

This Saturday, there will be a special combined Korean-English New Year’s Eve Service. A special prayer time will begin at 10 p.m. and a worship service will begin at 11:30 p.m. The service will be in the Korean sanctuary. English translation receivers will be available upon request. Get there early for seats!

There will be a Children’s Lock-In at the church on 21 December from 5 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. the next morning. This is for kids from 4-6th grades.
A Children’s Christmas Party will be held on 23 December (Friday) at the Church. This is for all kids from pre-school to 3rd grade. Please contact Michelle for more information.

The Christmas Angel Tree Sign-up is continuing! You have an opportunity to sign up to provide a local orphan a gift for Christmas that will be delivered to him/her. We will be providing this for the kids at Chunhae Children’s Home this year. Gifts need to be wrapped and brought back to the church by December 18. Contact Helen if you would like more information.
