The Resource Library is available for your use! You may check a book out after the worship service every Sunday in the Cry Room. We have books on various subjects like Christian living, defense of the faith, salvation, prayer, family, etc. The books that are available in the Resource Library can be viewed at http://www.songtanbaptist.com/library/.

SCBC’s summer VBS will be held August 2nd – 6th. A volunteer meeting will be held in the English sanctuary on March 14th after the worship service. If you are interested in helping in this year’s VBS, please attend this meeting and contact Charlotte at 0505-122-7200.
A Teacher’s Retreat will be held on March 27th. All Nursery, Pre-School, Sunday School (adult & children), & Kids’ Club teachers are invited to attend. It will be a time of encouragement, refreshment, and planning. Please RSVP with Charlotte Guest.
If you are interested in intentional membership with the SCBC family, please plan on attending the next membership class to be held beginning on February 21st. There are 3 different sessions for 3 Sundays in a row to be held at 4:15 p.m. Please contact Pastor Chapman if you are interested!
This year’s summer mission trip is tentatively scheduled for July 18th -25th. The team will be going to Tokyo, Japan by invitation of New Tokyo Baptist Church. The mission team this year will be limited to 10-15 people, so don’t wait to express interest! Please see Pastor Chapman for more details.
There will be a church membership meeting on Sunday, Jan. 24th. It’ll be at 4 pm in the English sanctuary. All church members are encouraged to attend this important meeting.
On January 10th, there will be a communion service & a fellowship luncheon will immediately follow. It will be served in the lobby of the church and tables and chairs will be set up in the sanctuary. Main dishes will be provided, but church members are requested to bring a side dish and a drink to be shared.

This week, there will be a special combined Korean-English New Year’s Eve Service on Thursday. A special prayer time will begin at 10 pm and a worship service will begin at 11:30 pm. The service will be in the Korean sanctuary. English translation receivers will be available upon request. Come early for seats!

SCBC will be holding Christmas Day worship services at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. in the Korean Sanctuary. This will be a special combined service with English translation receivers available upon request in the main lobby.
All the children for our Angel Tree orphanage outreach have been sponsored! If you have pledged to sponsor a child, please remember to bring your wrapped Christmas gift to the church by Dec. 20th. The delivery of the gifts will be Dec. 23rd. Please see Matt Miles for more information
You are invited to ICS’ free Christmas musical on Dec. 10th at the Pyeongtaek Youth Center. It will feature K-6th grade students as well as the high school choir. This Christ-centered production starts at 6 pm. Contact ICS at 031-651-1376 for more info.
You have the opportunity to do an Angel Tree outreach with a local orphanage by sponsoring a child with a gift for Christmas that will be delivered to him/her. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a child! More info is coming up — please see Matt Miles or Pastor Chapman if you have any questions.
On Nov. 30-Dec 1, the Korean side of the church will be making Kimchi! Around 2,400 cabbage heads will be made into Kimchi and delivered to the less fortunate in the community. If you’d like to get involved, please see Myong Hi Tolliver.
After the worship service on 15 November, there will be a brief Youth-Parent Informational Meeting in the 3rd floor library. This is for both students in junior and senior high school and parents. Please see Eric Zanger for more information.
On Nov. 15th, there will be a special service at the 7 p.m. Korean service. The musical group, Pilgrim Ensemble, will be performing and leading in worship. This highly regarded group has performed in esteemed establishments like Carnegie Hall in NYC. This is an opportunity to invite a friend to church. English translation receivers will be available in the lobby upon request.
On Sunday, November 22nd, SCBC will be having a special Thanksgiving meal to remember all that God has done for us. This will be a time of singing, prayer, and public sharing. It will begin at 3:30 p.m. Please plan on attending & bring a friend!
