A Mongolian Training Meeting (MTM) will take place Sunday, 31 May at 2:30 p.m. All Mission team members need to be at this meeting! If you would like to help in this trip, please pray for missionary Kim, the team, and the people that will be contacted while the team is in Mongolia. If you would like to give a donation, please use the envelope in the bulletin. All funds are going towards the Mongolian missionary’s work and to help lower the cost of the trip for the team members. This year’s mission trip will be July 12-20th.

Play ball! Over Memorial Day weekend, on the 23rd of May, SCBC will be hosting a BBQ and then head to a baseball game. First, a BBQ will be held in the church parking lot from 1:30 pm – 2:45 pm. Next, we will load up on a church bus to head to Jamsil Stadium to see the Hanhwa Eagles play the LG Twins. Cost is $5 for the BBQ and tickets are 10,000 won/adult, 8,000 won/teen, and 7,000 won/child. Please RSVP Eddie Kim by May 17th or sign up in the lobby.
A hot dog fundraiser for SCBC’s summer mission trip to Mongolia will be held next Sunday, May 17th. All proceeds are going to the mission work & to lower the cost of the trip for the mission team. It’ll be after the morning worship service. If you would like to give a donation to the mission trip on top of the fundraiser, please use the designated envelope.
A special thank you to all who attended and helped to make the 30 Hour Famine Spaghetti Fundraiser possible this past Friday! Your efforts helped needy children around the world.
The youth of SCBC are participating in World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine (May 8-9). They are hosting a spaghetti fundraiser Friday, May 8th at 7 pm at the church. The movie, Fireproof, will be shown afterwards. The minimum donation is 5,000 won for adults and 3,000 won for children (10 yrs. old or younger). Please see Jeremy or the teens for tickets.
