On June 28th, SCBC will sponsor a group of children from a local orphanage to Everland Theme Park, all church members are invited to partake in this outreach. If you would like to sponsor a child, please use the designated white donation envelopes (26,000 won will cover entrance fee, rides & lunch per individual). We will meet at 8:15 a.m. in the church parking lot. Donations of clothing, books, & children’s Bibles will be delivered at this time as well. Contact Michael Bender if you would like to attend. A combined Korean-English baptism service will take place on June 8th at 5:45 p.m. A few of our young people will be coming forward for baptism! If you are interested in baptism, please see Pastor Chapman.
After June 1st, the 9 a.m. Children’s Sunday School class will be on hiatus until August. Kid’s Club, however, will continue thru the summer. Adult & teen Sunday School will continue as usual.
Please come out to support the ICS Block Party Outreach! It will be held right across from Osan AFB Main Gate on May 31st. This family orientated event’s main focus is to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our very own adult & youth praise bands will be performing at this event as well! Our teen & children summer camps are right around the corner! Our teens will be attending Centrifuge (7-12 grades) from June 15-20th. Our children (4-6 grades) will be attending CentriKid from June 22-26th. Friends can be invited! Both camps will be held on the campus of TCIS in Daejon. The cost for each student is 225,000 won (all payments in won please). The payment for the camp is due on June 9th. Any scholarship donation is welcomed to help a student go to camp! Attn all SCBC ladies! A Craft Fellowship Night (CFN) to promote Christian encouragement and craft fun is starting up! Valerie Fay is the POC. On May 24th, there will be a kickoff party at the Fay home at 6 p.m. with a “pot providence” dinner.
